Written over 47 years ago, this never seen before illustrated diary chronicles the nineteen day excursion that Reverend Awdry, his brother George and six friends embarked on. Written in the dry, stoic humour of the Awdrys, this collaboration was written some eight years before the brothers wrote the hugely successful ‘The Island of Sodor, Its people, History and Railways.
Hidden in amongst Reverend Awdrys archives, his son Christopher has now decided to share with the world this wonderful time piece.
